The TYT 9800 Go Box features two 5ah LifePo4 batteries for a total of 10ah of battery capacity. The batteries can be charged with 14.6v via the Anderson Powerpole connectors. The battery monitor is made by Powerwerx. This Go Box has a cubby that can store the hand mic and TYT 9800 removable face. The design facilitates running the radio on a desk, in a vehicle. The faceplate is easily removed and replaced with the faceplate Turn Button Fasteners.

The new replacement batteries are rated at 5Ah. Please note that the 5Ah batteries are physically identical in size and fit to the original ones.
